So I decided to get my first video filmed for the site.  This one is an intro to go with the About Sawdust Is Life page.  It’ll pretty much be an intro to me and my shop and what I hope to accomplish with this site.  It’s going to be a little messy for this first episode.  I’m in the middle of cleaning up, reorganizing and remodeling.

I’m taking a week off pretty soon during which I plan on getting most of the cleanup and reorganizing done.  Hopefully at that time I’ll aslo get started on my ‘remodel’.  It’s not a true remodel.  I’m not removing any walls or anything like that.

In this remodel I’ll be dropping a subpanel to the shop so it has its own local breaker box and adding at least one 220 outlet.  I’m also going to cover the wall studs with sheetrock, rebuild my cabinets, add a slab of cement to a section of floor that is still dirt (this is a really, really old shop) and build some new wood storage shelves, and a built-in desk.

Well, that’s it for now.  I’ll post again when I get the video uploaded.
